Faculty training

Faculty training workshops are available primarily in Oklahoma (other states on a limited basis).

Some highlights of the class include the following:

  • The philosophy of testing which has made the ACT workshop program so successful.
  • Review of some statistical data showing a correlation between statistically significant factors and ACT test scores
  • A review of each section of the test as well as general test taking strategies taught in the student workshop and in the semester course curriculum.
  • A sample of stories told during the ACT workshop. As with the students, if you are not enjoying yourself, you probably are not maximizing your learning potential.
  • An outline of information schools need to teach students to maximize standardized test scores.
  • Finally, an exciting, fun, informational, and very motivational experience.

Price for a single school faculty workshop is $800. This price includes all travel expenses and a copy of Chad Cargill's ACT Prep book for each of your English, math, science, and counseling departments.

Multiple school faculty workshops are priced on a case by case basis. Generally 2 to 3 school workshops are $1000.

Time will be determined on a case by case basis. Generally faculty workshops last from 1 1/2 to 2 hours depending on the school's allocated time.
