Don't be afraid of putting No Change too many times
No Change is a correct answer on the ACT. You may have a tendency to think something has to be wrong with each sentence until you try to invent something wrong. You should always give a second look when the answer is No Change, but the bottom line is that No Change is a correct answer about 15 times per test. And if you start putting No Change too many times, you may begin to lose confidence because everything looks right to you. I want you to know that on one test I put No Change on about 6 of the first 10 questions, and I am fairly certain I got all of them right. How do I know? Well, my friend with a 36 in English said he did the exact same thing. A few recent examples that were even more than 15 times in a given test: April 2002 - 20 times April 2004 - 16 times June 2004 - 16 times Once again, if you think the answer is No Change, then put No Change.
